Joined by soprano Kyungmi Han, mezzo soprano Sunjung Kim, tenor Hoyoon Chung, and baritone Kyuwon Han, as well as a 140-piece chorus, Beethoven¡¯s ¡°Choral¡± is a fitting masterpiece to close the year. As Schiller pleads for harmony and brotherly unity through the verses, ¡°Embrace each other now, you millions! This kiss is for the whole wide world!¡±, experience the power of harmony with this magnificent work. </font></div> <div align="left">&nbsp;</div> <div align="left"><br /><font face="Verdana" size="2"><font size="3"><strong>Soprano / Kyungmi Han</strong></font></font></div> <div align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">-Graduated from Yonsei University School of Music and Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin (Operngesang).<br />- Winner of the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg Competition (Germany).<br />- Has performed with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, the Bonn Classical Philharmonic, and the KBS Symphony Orchestra. <br />- Currently sings at the Fujiwara Opera Company in Japan. <br />- Currently, teaches at the Myongji University, Division of Music. </font></div> <div align="left"><font face="Verdana"></font>&nbsp;</div> <div align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><font size="3"><strong>Mezzo soprano / Sunjung Kim</strong></font><br />- Studied at the Hochschule f&uuml;r Musik und Theater Hamburg.<br />- Made a European debut by singing in The Marriage of Figaro in Prague National Theatre Opera. <br />- Has sung in the cities and opera houses such as the Bremen, Kassel, Flensburg, Allee Theater Hamburger Kammeroper, and Hamburg-musikhalle. <br />- Made a Korean debut by singing in Isang Yun¡¯s opera Shim Chong.<br />- Currently teaches at the Korea national University of Arts.</font></div> <div align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">&nbsp;</font></div> <div align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><font size="3"><strong>Tenor / Hoyoon Chung </strong></font><br />- Graduated from the Seoul National University and the Brno Conservatory, Czech. <br />- Winner of the Dong-a Ilbo Music Competition (now the Seoul International Music Competition), the Korea National Opera Competition, and the Belvedere Competition (Austria), among others. <br />- Has performed with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the NDR Symphony Orchestra, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Croatian Radiotelevision, the KBS Symphony Orchestra, and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. <br />- Appeared at the Vienna State Opera House, the Hamburg State Opera House, and the Berlin State Opera House. </font></div> <div align="left"><font face="Verdana"></font>&nbsp;</div> <div align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><strong><font size="3">Baritone / Kyuwon Han </font></strong><br />- Studied at the Manhattan School of Music. <br />- Winner of the Adler Fellowship of the San Francisco Opera (first Korean to win); singing the role of Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni with the San Francisco Opera. <br />- Made a European debut by portraying the role of Ping in Turandot with the Strasbourg Opera, France, in 2001; made a Japanese debut by singing the role of Papageno in The Magic Flute; sang in Madama Butterfly at the Op&eacute;ra National de Bordeaux; and performed the role of Dandini in Rossini¡¯s La Cenerentola.<br />- Has appeared at the Carnegie Hall in New York and the Bloomsbury Theater in the UK. <br />- Has been invited to sing at the FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan Anniversary Concert in 2003. <br />- Performed with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the National Chamber Orchestra, the KBS Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmornic Orchestra, and the Siena Wind Orchestra, among others. </font><br /></div>
